SAFe - Online
No matter your context, SAFe courses have a delivery method for you. There are three primary methods:
• SAFe Virtual Classroom - Use SAFe Collaborate, an online virtual
workspace for idea generation and decision making, to run class activities. The fast setup and engaging learning environment make it the best choice for SAFe courses.
• Remote Delivery Enabled (RDE) SAFe Courses - For classes versioned 5.0.1 and above, activity slides are included in the courseware kit and are compatible with many technologies and training environments. These slides can be used directly by learners or uploaded into collaboration spaces.
• Remote Training Aids (RTA) - Select classes have activity slides available directly in the SAFe Community Platform instead of SAFe Virtual Classroom and RDEs. Like the RDEs, they are based on slides for application in a variety of training environments
SAFE - Class Room
A typical pattern in our courseware is that we will present content and then ask learners to complete activities that require them to think critically about the content and how it applies to their work and lives. This active learning helps make content memorable so learners can use their new knowledge, skills, and mindset in their work once they’ve completed the course.
Active Learning
Active learning is an approach in which all learners engage in learning. This means that learners are encouraged to engage with the material, to participate in the activities, and to collaborate. Active learning stands in contrast to traditional models in which learners are passive recipients of knowledge from an expert. We don’t expect learners in class to listen and memorize. Instead, we help them demonstrate their understanding and ask them how they would apply the new knowledge
